April and Christa talk with Frances Broaddus-Crutchfield, who was named 2020 Communicator of Achievement by the Virginia Professional Communicators for her advocacy for women’s rights and Virginia’s Indian tribes. Frances tells us what it means to be honored by the Virginia Professional Communicators and describes the process of her involvement with Virginia Women’s Monument Commission and Virginia Indian Commemorative Commission that were responsible for the two monuments erected in recent years on the State Capitol Grounds in Richmond, Virginia.
